Canadian Junior Badminton Players Compete at the BWF World Junior Championships 2023

Thirteen of Badminton Canada’s Junior badminton players are heading to the BWF World Junior Championships 2023.
Badminton Canada fans are eagerly anticipating the BWF World Junior Championships 2023, in Spokane, USA, featuring the world's top young players. The tournament will be held from October 2 to 8, and will feature some of the brightest stars in the sport. But before that, from September 25 to 30, the Mixed Team event will take place. This event will see teams from around the world compete for the title of junior world champion.
Representing Canada in the BWF World Junior Championships 2023 are a talented group of young athletes including standout player Jackie Dent, who is currently ranked 12th in the BWF Junior Rankings for Women's Singles. The full team includes:

These players have worked tirelessly to prepare for the tournament and are ready to give their all on the court. With their skills, determination, and passion for the sport, they are sure to make Canada proud.
“I am so pleased to be able to work with our top juniors.” said coach Jennifer Lee. “I am once again excited about having our junior athletes play against the best in the world in their age category.” added Mike Butler, National Team Head Coach. “We had such good performances last year, and I am looking forward to seeing what the same athletes with another year’s experiences under their belt, along with our newcomers will do at these championships.” Both Mike Butler and Jennifer Lee will be joining the team in Spokane.
