Moncton, NB - Badminton Canada is pleased to announce the athletes and coaches selected to represent Canada at this year’s Junior Pan American Championships, being held at the Universite de Moncton, from July 12^th to the 20^th, 2019.

 

The first week of competition will feature a Team Event, where the best U19 athletes from each country will compete in a best of five tie. Following a day of rest, starting Tuesday July 16^th, Team Canada will have almost 90 athletes competing in age groups from U11 to U19, in the pursuit of becoming Pan Am Champions!

 

Throughout the year, our junior athletes have been traveling the country in order to compete at Yonex Junior Elite Series events and National Championships, in aspirations of qualifying for a spot on the Junior National Team. As the Championship approaches, each athlete is one step closer to achieving their goal of representing their country on the international stage.

 

Badminton Canada congratulates each athlete who has qualified for the 2019 Junior National Team (U15, U17, U19), and Junior National Development (U11, U13).
