It seemed as though it was only a matter of time before Abdul Shaikh has been drafted into the Badminton Canada Hall of Fame.

Abdul’s impact on the Canada Games and Badminton Canada cannot be understated as his passion; dedication and mentoring are all lifelong contributions to the sport. On November 24th 2018, an induction ceremony for Abdul was held at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club! From which, a Bursary Fund was created in his name with the annual proceeds committed to supporting a top junior player from British Columbia to compete internationally at events like Pan Am Junior Championship or World Junior Championships.

We encourage you all to congratulate Abdul on a lifelong commitment to badminton in Canada, and to join him in continuing to support athletes through the Abdul Shaikh Bursary Fund. Donations available here: https://bit.ly/2q99GeW
