2. What was your reason for wanting to start your own club?

E Badminton's goal is to contribute to the healthy athletic and personal development of our athletes to ensure a healthy and happy lifestyle. We started the club in order to bring the highest quality of badminton training available in Asia including Indonesia and China, to Canadian athlets.

 

3. How many courts do you have?

E Badminton has 9 brand new, fully-matted courts. Our courts comply with international tournament standards.

 

4. Can you tell us a little about your club, programs and members.

 E Badminton is a full-service badminton gymnasium providing athletes the opportunity to train and play within our state-of-the-art facility. We offer 10+ lesson types to athletes of all levels, including group lessons, private lessons, high-performance team training, day camps, and more! Our members range from beginners to families and enthusiasts who play evry day of the week.

 

5. Do you have any players or coaches you would like to highlight?

Jason Ho-Shue: Rank #32 in the world (2021), Canadian National Champion (2020), Pan-American Champion (2019), member of the Canadian National Team (2021), Badminton Canada Athlete of the Year (2017).

 

Michelle Tong: Canadian National Champion (2017), Pan-American Champion (2017), Badminton Canada ESPOIR Athlete of the Year (2017), former Canadian National Team member, former Rank #1 in Canada.

 

Jon Lai: Canadian University National Champion (2017), Junior Pan-American Champion (2015), Rank #1 in Canada (2021), former National Team member.

2. What was your reason for wanting to start your own club?

To enhance the popularity of badminton sports among PEI youth and also enrich extra curricular activities of the student from various level of island school. Our goal is to raise the professional level of badminton in PEI.

 

3. How many courts do you have?

We rent from the school.

 

4. Can you tell us a little about your club, programs and members.

The club was established in 2014; since then, we try to bring more competitive players from PEI to Canada. We did that; our club has participated in almost every National championships since 2016, most of the elite tournaments. In 2019, we went to the Canada Games and the last time PEI participated was 2007. Now, our club develops pretty well before the pandemic. I hope we can get back to normal soon and keep developing.

 

5. Do you have any players or coaches you would like to highlight?

Players: Karla Lynn McCallum, Spencer Gallant, Alex Zheng, Jack Ronahan, David Pan, etc.

Coaches: Kevin Yan, Leon Fu, Yu Chen, Sam Pan, Daniel Breau.

2. What was your reason for wanting to start your own club?

Our mission is to inspire students of all ages to build a strong mind, body, skills and strategies to achieve their highest potential both on and off the court.

 

We set the highest standards to provide comprehensive and systematic training programs that meet the needs of all levels of play.

 

We offer the best in class training facilities within the community to promote the sport of badminton at a grassroot level.

 

3. How many courts do you have?

We have 4 locations and a total of 42 courts.

 

4. Can you tell us a little about your club, programs and members.

KCBC was established early 2011 by Kevin Cao, former Chinese national badminton team member, with many national and international titles in his competition years. Within its inaugural year, KCBC was quickly recognized as one of the top clubs among 200 affiliated clubs within the Ontario Badminton Association. 

The coaching staff at KCBC develop a variety of the programs with needs of their members in mind. Training programs range from various levels of group lessons to on one one private training and clinic. Many of our coaches hold NCPP certificates and are accomplished players and respected members of the badminton community. Combined, they hold more than 100 years of experience playing and coaching of badminton.

We do our best to help develop students to build a strong mind and body. Through our training, we hope to help the students build a strong mentality to face adverse situations on and off the court while also training them to gain the physical strength and endurance to handle any situation.

Wanted to have more courts and times.

Two locations and a total of 16 courts. 

 

4. Can you tell us a little about your club, programs and members.

 Our main business is to offer private, group and team training. We do have about total 600 members.
