BADMINTON CANADA 100TH ANNIVERSARY CONTEST (TWITTER)

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN

1. SPONSOR: The Badminton Canada 100th Anniversary Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Badminton Canada.  It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Twitter.

2. ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to legal residents of, and physically located in, Canada, excluding Quebec, who are at least 13 years of age at the time of entry. In the case of individuals who are less than the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, if they win this Contest, such individual’s parent or legal guardian must consent to these rules and their child’s entry in the Contest by completing, signing and returning Sponsor’s Winner Release (as described herein). By participating in this Contest, entrants, or their parent or legal guardian, as applicable, acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Contest Rules. Entrants, or their parent or legal guardian, as applicable, who do not comply with any of these Contest Rules are subject to disqualification by the Sponsor, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Everyone entering the contest may only use a single account to enter the contest. Anyone found to use multiple accounts will be ineligible.

3. CONTEST DESCRIPTION: The Contest begins on September 9, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. EST and ends on September 12, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. EST (“Contest Period”).

4. HOW TO ENTER: Entrants can enter this Contest as follows:

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The winner will be randomly selected by Badminton Canada on September 13, 2021 from all eligible entries received during the contest period.  The potential prize winner will be notified by direct message via Twitter. The selected entrant will be required to answer a time-limited skill testing question. If any potential prize winner does not respond within 5 days or is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected.

 

6. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: 

The winning prize will be distributed by Yonex Canada to the winner after receiving the winner’s mailing address.

7. CONTEST PRIZE: There is one (1) prize available to be won consisting of one of each of the following: Yonex shirt, Yonex shorts, pair of Yonex Socks, pair of Yonex wristbands. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute an alternate prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable at time of award.

8. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received before the end of the Contest Period.

9. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: The winner (and the winner’s parent/legal guardian on his/her behalf if less than the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence) shall be required to sign and return the Declaration of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release (the “Winner Release”), releasing Badminton Canada, Yonex Canada, and Twitter from any liability.

10. Limitation of Liability: Each participants entry into the Contest constitutes his or her agreement to release and hold harmless Badminton Canada, Yonex Canada and Instagram against all claims of liability, illness, injury, death, loss, etc. that occurs directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or use/misuse of the awarded prize.

11. OTHER CONDITIONS:

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Contest Rules. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law.

Publicity and entrant information: By participating in this Contest, entrants (and any entrant’s parent/legal guardian on his/her behalf should such entrant be less than the age of majority in his/her province, territory or state of residence) consent to the use of their name and place of residence for Badminton Canada’s use in announcing the winner.

Acceptance of the prize: The prize must be accepted as described in these Contest Rules and may not, in any case, be in whole or in part transferred to another person or exchanged for another prize or for cash, other than as provided by these Contest Rules.

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

1. SPONSOR: The Badminton Canada 100th Anniversary Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Badminton Canada.  It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
 

2. ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to legal residents of, and physically located in, Canada, excluding Quebec, who are at least 13 years of age at the time of entry. In the case of individuals who are less than the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, if they win this Contest, such individual’s parent or legal guardian must consent to these rules and their child’s entry in the Contest by completing, signing and returning Sponsor’s Winner Release (as described herein). Leave a comment on our Facebook Contest post telling us where you play badminton.
 

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The winner will be randomly selected by Badminton Canada on August 23, 2021 from all eligible entries received during the contest period.  The potential prize winner will be notified by direct message via Facebook. The selected entrant will be required to answer a time-limited skill testing question. If any potential prize winner does not respond within 5 days or is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected.

2. ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to legal residents of, and physically located in, Canada, excluding Quebec, who are at least 13 years of age at the time of entry. In the case of individuals who are less than the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, if they win this Contest, such individual’s parent or legal guardian must consent to these rules and their child’s entry in the Contest by completing, signing and returning Sponsor’s Winner Release (as described herein). By participating in this Contest, entrants, or their parent or legal guardian, as applicable, acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Contest Rules. The selected entrant will be required to answer a time-limited skill testing question. If any potential prize winner does not respond within 5 days or is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected.
