Badminton Canada Launches Alumni Program

Badminton Canada celebrates our 100th Anniversary with the launch of the Alumni Program

In honor of Badminton Canada's 100th Anniversary, BCan has launched an Alumni Program, including a database of former players who have represented Canada at major international events, including; Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Sudirman Cup, Thomas & Uber Cup, and Pan American Team Championships. The purpose is to preserve our badminton history while connecting and engaging with our Alumni to support and advance the sport of badminton in Canada.

Badminton Canada has intially launched the Alumni Database with players and plan to add coaches, managers, officials and builders in the near future. Although the majority of the information has been filled, we ask our national badminton community to help address any mistakes or missing information they my find. If you have any information or resources related to historic events, athletes, or have any historic badminton photos or videos, please share with Badminton Canada at alumni@badminton.ca

All BCan Alumni are encouraged to contact Badminton Canada to share their personal contact in order to receive more information on the Alumni Program, this includes; completion of the Alumni profile, VIP invitations to local badminton events, and other benefits exclusively for Alumni members.

As we continue through year, Badminton Canada will continue to share our remarkable history throughout our 100th Anniversary by acknowledging and celebrating past events, performances, and people! Follow Badminton Canada social media channels (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) for new releases every Tuesday and Thursday to learn more about Badminton Canada's history!
